Wilshire Boulevard Temple’s Early Childhood Programs build partnerships between school and family to create healthy, happy children. We encourage each child to know and like him or herself. We teach each child to know that he or she is loved and has a special place in the world, in our community, and in our lives. Our programs also forge strong partnerships between families and the Temple, creating a spiritual community of growth and support that lasts a lifetime. The Nursery Schools’ Parent Association is very active and offers opportunities in which every family can get involved. Our community service projects provide ways for parents and children to reach out to a more global community and for children to learn about the mitzvot of
tikkun olam (repairing the world) and
tzedakah (charity).

Beyond Nursery School
Wilshire Boulevard Temple’s Early Childhood Administration works closely with families as they chart their journeys beyond Nursery School. The Director meets individually with each family in order to best advise and advocate on each child’s behalf.
